Book review
Hyperion
From the article
It has been a while but I remember Hyperion by Dan Simmons as a great audiobook. There is a lot of thriller, myth, and good storytelling.

An external synopsis preserved in my original notes describes pilgrims travelling on Hyperion toward the Shrike, while the sequel, The Fall of Hyperion, continues the conflict around that world. I did not record the synopsis source.
