FICTION

The lie through which we tell the truth.

Fiction is where I test ideas that are too messy for essays. These novellas explore hope, progress, and the human cost of the future in motion. Slow writing, carefully edited, shaped by science, psychology, and a soft spot for sci-fi.

Two science fiction projects, one active.

NovellaSperoThe Unforeseen Consequences of HopeDraft v0.2
01 // Active

Spero is a story about hope, progress, and the weight of love.

A father moves the earth to save his daughter in a near-future world where progress cuts both ways. The novella asks what we owe each other when technology accelerates faster than our ethics.

Spero is my laboratory for combining science fiction with psychology, behavioral economics, and the human instinct to keep going. It is an exploration of what stays human when everything changes.

02 // Paused

Nova explores the ethics of engineered childhood.

Joanna and Winston debate the morality of designing their child in a world where genetic upgrades are real. Nova is on hold while I focus on other projects, but the questions remain.

Fiction LoopPROCESS

I write in small research sprints, draft in long sessions, then edit in tight cycles. Fiction helps me rehearse futures before they arrive.
