The book was as good as the movie for me, and it has an extra chapter. In a 2017 note I also wondered about memory, how recollection can change the feelings attached to an experience, and what that might mean for people with traumatic memories.

The book was as good as the movie for me, and it has an extra chapter. In a 2017 note I also wondered about memory, how recollection can change the feelings attached to an experience, and what that might mean for people with traumatic memories. That was a question prompted by the story, not a medical conclusion.

It’s 21 small chapters and can be listened in two-ish days. Definitively recommended.
